Pine Street is a lovely “Painted Lady” Victorian single-family home, originally built in 1905. It was profoundly neglected and deteriorated. The house is a listed historic home.
McMahon Architects+Studio designed the rebuild and expansion and transformed the home into one of the most stately in the neighborhood. A garage was added as well. Working with the City of San Francisco Planning Department was time intensive, but the results are gracious and beautiful.
